Oklahoma Public Media Exchange (OPMX) is a collaboration of the public radio and television stations serving Oklahoma: KGOU, KOSU, KWGS, KCCU, KCSC, KALU, KCNP, OETA TV and KRSU-TV. The organization is governed by a council comprised of the executive managers of each station.
The purpose of OPMX is to engage in activities or projects that benefit one or more of the council’s members and helps the services better serve their audiences.
For the past four years, partner stations KGOU, KOSU, KWGS and KCCU have collaborated on a reporting project, StateImpact Oklahoma. Award winning SIO reporters Joe Wertz and Logan Layden travel the state to report on the intersection of government, industry, natural resources and the Oklahoma workforce. StateImpact Oklahoma is funded private contributions, including businesses, listeners and readers like you. Support the work of StateImpact Oklahoma with an online donation.
All the OPMX member stations are exploring other ways of sharing content on news, information, public affairs and cultural expressions. Listen or watch for content from OPMX members!
